Who We Are

When I first envisaged the 2010 Fine Art project my inspiration was a passion for African art and a powerful belief that the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ was an opportunity to bring the world to Africa and take Africa to the world – through art.

I was extremely fortunate to find investors, curators, galleries and artists who shared my vision – and together we formed the 2010 Fine Art consortium. Zingaro Trade 103 (Pty) Ltd, trading as 2010 Fine Art and MMX Art, is a South African company that has acquired from the Global Brands Group, FIFA’s worldwide Master Licensee, a global license to produce, market and distribute fine art as Official Licensed Products of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™.

In addition to combining the creative talents of 160 of the world’s leading contemporary artists into one exceptional international collection, 2010 Fine Art is also providing African artists with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to market their talents to international audiences through the platform of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™.

2010 Fine Art also offers an entirely new and exciting opportunity for the people who really make the FIFA World Cup™ so unique: the football fans. The 2010 Fine Art Collections are a beautifully evocative way of illustrating their support for their national teams – offering a chance to bring the event home with them through fine art collectibles that will continue to appreciate in value.

The 2010 Fine Art project is certainly one of the most exciting opportunities of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™. Whether you are an artist or a sportsman, a collector or a fan, I want to personally invite you to enjoy the works in our Collections and to share in our excitement about this ground-breaking African fine art venture.
