This Collection is one of the largest international fine art collaborations in recent history and features some really big names like Peter Phillips (England); Paul Goodnight (USA); Charles Billich (Australia) and Hugo Marin (Chile). Many of the works in this Collection are physically imposing – like ‘Goal Volant’ by Alexis Peskine (France) which measures almost 2 x 2.5 meters and is made up of nails, gold leaf and wood. The Collection also brings together incredible artistic diversity with works from North Korea and Japan, for example, paired with images from Spain, Ghana, Brazil and of course South Africa. There will never be a better chance to acquire a piece of the 2010 South African success – as a lasting investment in exceptional art and a permanent tribute to the 2010 FIFA World CupTM. The auction will be open to the public to attend but anyone interested in bidding should pre-register by sending an email to Hannie@grahamsgallery.co.za to receive a catalogue and the Conditions of Sale.
